To oversee, plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our brand new 145 apartment Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care Assisted Living Community located in Stamford, CT. The Executive Director is responsible for pre-opening marketing, nurturing relationships with key industry professionals and local community organizations and hiring the management team. During the pre-opening stage, this position the focus will be on building brand awareness of Waterstone in the local market and developing a future resident depositor list. Thereafter, continues to nurture relationships with prospective residents, industry professionals and local community members and organizations. Works in conjunction with department heads, hires and supervises staff. The Executive Director facilitates company policies and procedures for maintaining a safe community for staff and residents.
We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Director in Senior Housing including either Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care Assisted Living. Some experience opening a start-up community required. The ideal candidate will be professional, dynamic and innovative with operational strategies. Must have strong decision making skills, superior leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. Must be sales savvy. Candidates must exhibit a high level of quality, commitment and desire for working in the Senior Living Industry. Bachelor’s degree required.
