Job Title: Executive Director

Reporting To: Joanna Cormac Burt, Chief Operating Officer

Position Location: Waterstone on High Ridge, Stamford, CT

Hours: Full-time, Position to start in June 2020 and the community will open around the end of 2021.

Responsibilities: To oversee, plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our brand new 145 apartment Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care Assisted Living Community located in Stamford, CT. The Executive Director is responsible for pre-opening marketing, nurturing relationships with key industry professionals and local community organizations and hiring the management team. During the pre-opening stage, this position the focus will be on building brand awareness of Waterstone in the local market and developing a future resident depositor list. Thereafter, continues to nurture relationships with prospective residents, industry professionals and local community members and organizations. Works in conjunction with department heads, hires and supervises staff. The Executive Director facilitates company policies and procedures for maintaining a safe community for staff and residents.

Qualifications: 

We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Director in Senior Housing including either Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care Assisted Living. Some experience opening a start-up community required. The ideal candidate will be professional, dynamic and innovative with operational strategies. Must have strong decision making skills, superior leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. Must be sales savvy. Candidates must exhibit a high level of quality, commitment and desire for working in the Senior Living Industry. Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external sales and marketing of our brand new 145 apartment Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care Assisted Living Community located in Stamford, CT. Develops and executes a quarterly sales and marketing overview, as well as a monthly plan. Evaluates and identifies strategies to achieve occupancy goals. During the pre-opening stage and thereafter, develops and builds relationships with families, client prospects and professional referral sources within the community.

Qualifications: We require a minimum of 3 years of experience executing the sales process in Senior Living Sales preferably in Assisted Living Sales, Independent Living Sales or Memory Care Assisted Living. Some experience in pre-construction sales preferred. Must have a proven ability to close sales. Must be a dynamic self-starter, organized and able to work as a team with internal departments. We require exceptional customer service skills. Qualified candidates must exhibit an up-beat, polished, professional and personable demeanor.

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Reporting To: Tyler Siciak, Accounting Manager

Position Location: Corporate Office, Waltham

Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: This position involves financial statement preparation and analysis, posting of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and document maintenance. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate must be computer literate with above average Excel skills.  General ledger accounting experience and/or Yardi experience a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. New grads welcome to apply.
