Job Title: Executive Director

Reporting To: Joanna Cormac Burt, Chief Operating Officer

Position Location: Waterstone of Westchester, White Plains, NY

Hours: Full-time, Position to start in February 2020 and the community will open around Early Fall of 2021.

Responsibilities: To oversee, plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our brand new 132 apartment Independent Living Community located in White Plains, NY. The Executive Director is responsible for pre-opening marketing, nurturing relationships with key industry professionals and local community organizations and hiring the management team. During the pre-opening stage, this position the focus will be on building brand awareness of Waterstone in the local market and developing a future resident depositor list. Thereafter, continues to nurture relationships with prospective residents, industry professionals and local community members and organizations. Works in conjunction with department heads, hires and supervises staff. The Executive Director facilitates company policies and procedures for maintaining a safe community for staff and residents.

Qualifications: We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Director in Senior Housing and in Independent Living. Some experience opening a start-up community required. The ideal candidate will be professional, dynamic and innovative with operational strategies. Must have strong decision making skills, superior leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. Must be sales savvy. Candidates must exhibit a high level of quality, commitment and desire for working in the Senior Living Industry. Bachelor’s degree required.

Job Title: Senior Advisor / Sales

Reporting To: Joanna Cormac Burt, Chief Operating Officer

Position Location: Waterstone of Westchester, White Plains, NY

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external sales and marketing of our brand new 132 apartment Independent Living community located in White Plains, NY. Develops and executes a quarterly sales and marketing overview, as well as a monthly plan. Evaluates and identifies strategies to achieve occupancy goals. During the pre-opening stage and thereafter, develops and builds relationships with families, client prospects and professional referral sources within the community.

Qualifications: We require a minimum of 3 years of experience executing the sales process in Senior Living Sales preferably in Assisted Living Sales or Independent Living Sales. Some experience in pre-construction sales preferred. Must have a proven ability to close sales. Must be a dynamic self-starter, organized and able to work as a team with internal departments. We require exceptional customer service skills. Qualified candidates must exhibit an up-beat, polished, professional and personable demeanor.

Job Title: Payroll (P/R) Coordinator

Reporting To: Jeffrey Marcy, Payroll Manager

Position Location: Corporate Office, Waltham

Hours: Monday through Friday Full-time

Responsibilities: Handling all aspects of payroll using ADP Workforce Now as well as ADP e-time software for various communities. Responsibilities include; preparing weekly payroll for communities, payroll data entry and review, processing garnishments, time and labor system audits, Reporting, maintaining payroll files and posting employee status changes. Additionally, this position will respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and assist in the processing of year end payroll processing’s and annual W2 review.  Experience with Microsoft Office and with ADP software preferred.

Qualifications: Office environment experience, knowledge of and experience with computers, organized, detail-oriented individual with pleasant telephone manners and strong communication skills.

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Reporting To: Tyler Siciak, Accounting Manager

Position Location: Corporate Office, Waltham

Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: This position involves financial statement preparation and analysis, posting of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and document maintenance. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate must be computer literate with above average Excel skills.  General ledger accounting experience and/or Yardi experience a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. New grads welcome to apply.
