Horror fiction and Rhode Island: An upcoming talk at EPOCH on the East Side

Publisher Jim Dyer of Narangansett, R.I., will discuss horror fiction of the pulp era and its connection to Rhode Island  in a talk at EPOCH on the East Side at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. Dyer’s grandfather, C.M. Eddy, Jr., was a friend of H.P. Lovecraft and a frequent contributor to “Weird Tales” and other fiction magazines.
