If you don't get your fill of spooky entertainment on Halloween, an upcoming program at EPOCH Assisted Living on the East Side might be up your alley. Publisher Jim Dyer of Narangansett, R.I., will discuss horror fiction of the pulp era and its connection to Rhode Island  in a talk at EPOCH on the East Side at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. Dyer’s grandfather, C.M. Eddy, Jr., was a friend of H.P. Lovecraft and a frequent contributor to “Weird Tales” and other fiction magazines.
