We've written before about hearing loop technology, including a blog post by our own Julie Bolt about how EPOCH Assisted Living at Boylston Place became the first assisted living community in Massachusetts to install and utilize the technology. If you're unfamiliar with it, hearing loop technology basically allows a hearing-impaired individual to turn their hearing aid into a wireless transmitter.

On July 26, 1990, the world's first comprehensive civil rights law for people with disabilities was signed into law.  The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) represents 43 million Americans with disabilities who are entitled to legal protections that ensure them equal opportunity and access.
