The evolution of aging

Did you know that by 2030, the average life expectancy will have reached past 80 and more than 20 percent of the country’s population will be 65+? That’s a pretty big change from years ago, when less than 10 percent of the population was 65+ and the average life expectancy was around 70. What does it all mean? Well, according to this Boston Globe article, it means the reality of old age for those of us not yet in our senior years is changing, and rapidly.
